First Republic Bank has established effective controls to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of all customer information.
- Our Web site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption that scrambles data as it travels between your computer and the Bank's Web site, making it even more difficult for unauthorized people to access your account. The SSL protocol is the standard for Web site security.
- If the company administrator enters the company password incorrectly five times, the Company ID will be locked until you call us to reset the password. If individual users enter their user passwords incorrectly five times, the company administrator will have to reset their individual passwords.
- The Business Online Agreement limits your liability in the unlikely event that your password is stolen and funds are transferred improperly as a result. Please refer to the agreement for details.
- For more information, go to www.firstrepublic.com and click on the Privacy & Security link.
- Always use a secured computer that you control to access your Online Banking and Bill Pay. Using a shared computer in a cybercafe, hotel lobby or library, for example, increases the possibility that your company's passwords or financial information could be stolen.
- Be alert. No one representing First Republic Bank will ever ask you for your Password. Do not give this information to people who ask for it by email or phone.
- Manage your Company ID and Password carefully. Keep track of how many people know them and change the Password frequently.
- Sign off by clicking the Sign Off link when you finish each Online Banking or Bill Pay session, or when you leave your computer unattended, so others cannot use your credentials to access your account.
- Use the most current version of Netscape Navigator®, Microsoft® Internet Explorer, or AOL® (older browsers may not work with our SSL encryption). Make sure you have installed all available security patches. Keep your computer up-to-date with anti-virus and anti-spyware products.
