Your online security has always been a top priority. We upgraded your online banking experience with a new security service to further help protect you from identity theft.
Introducing Enhanced Login Security
This superior security technology offers even more protection for your accounts from unauthorized access. It identifies you as the true "owner" of your accounts by recognizing not only your password but your computer as well. If we don't recognize your computer — you've logged in from a public computer or one you haven't used before — we'll ask you for information that only you will know as an additional line of defense to prevent unauthorized access.
With Enhanced Login Security, you'll be protected from whatever computer you're using, whether you're at home or on the go:
- As directed by the federal banking agencies (i.e. FDIC), the program is now mandatory.
- When you log in for the first time after the program has begun, you will be asked to register your computer for the Enhanced Login Security program.
- If you haven't already established a "challenge question" and answer, during the registration process you will be asked to do so.
- Once you have signed up for this feature, the challenge question and answer you establish will be used to identify you if you ever login from a computer that you have not registered for the program. This challenge question will also be used for our Forgotten Password Reset feature.
