Online Brokerage Account Questions

Why can't I log on after I enter my account number and password?

Make sure you enter your account number with no dashes and spaces, and remember that your password is case sensitive - check to see if your CapsLock key is on. If you still experience difficulties, please contact us via email or at 1-877-348-5576.

How do I change my password?

Once you enter Brokerage Online, go to the Account Profile page within the Portfolio Section to change your password. For security reasons, your password should be 8 characters long and should include at least two numerical characters. Remember, your password is case sensitive.

What do I do if I forget my password?

Please contact us at 1-877-348-5576 Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM PST, to have your password reset. To ensure the security of your account, we cannot accept email requests to reset passwords.

How safe is my account information?

Brokerage Online employs the latest encryption technology and advanced security protocols to ensure your account information is protected. Also, you can help in keeping your accounts safe by using the latest versions of Internet Explorer or Netscape browser, and by not sharing your personal password with anyone else.

Can I use Brokerage Online to access my First Republic Securities Company Brokerage IRA?

Yes, you can use Brokerage Online to access any of your First Republic Securities Company brokerage accounts.

How often is my account information updated?

  • Executions are updated real time for Order Status.
  • Orders that are placed after market hours will be processed on the next business day.
  • Balances are updated real time.
  • Real time updates are available for holdings.

How long does it take to transfer holdings from another brokerage into my Brokerage Online account?

Please allow 10 to 15 business days to complete a transfer of securities from another brokerage account. Please call us at (877) 348-5576 to request an Account Transfer Form.

Can I nickname my account?

Yes, you can assign a nickname to your account, although it must not exceed 12 characters in length. In order to assign or change an account nickname, contact your Investment Specialist at (877) 348-5576.

Can I link two or more accounts?

Yes, you can link accounts. Simply contact your Investment Specialist at (877) 348-5576.
