Who is my project team?
Loan Officer
First Republic Bank loan officers have many years of experience and will provide you quick decisions. They are always available to meet you at your office or your site.
Architect
Your architect will design your new home or major remodel and will provide you with plans and specifications. These will be used by your contractor to provide you with a detailed cost breakdown of your project.
General Contractor
Once you have selected a contractor, we review the contractor's financial statements and credit reports. Additionally, we check his or her customer, supplier, and subcontractor references. We do not normally require a bond.
Funds Management
During the course of construction, we will inspect the project in order to ensure that the work has been completed and that the request for payment is commensurate with the percentage of work completed. These inspections provide you an "extra" set of eyes! We can disburse funds to the contractor once per month. Prior to each disbursement we will ask your contractor to provide us with invoices and appropriate lien releases pertaining to the previous disbursement.
