Mary Beth Byrne

Mary Beth Byrne is a Managing Director in the Foreign Exchange department at First Republic Bank.

Byrne joined First Republic Bank in 2010, continuing a career in FX that spans more than twenty-five years. Prior to joining First Republic, Byrne spent 16 years at Bank of America, where she specialized in client FX risk management advisory. She began her FX career as an international economist at Brown Brothers Harriman, followed by an FX client advisory and trading role at Citibank in New York and in Los Angeles.

Byrne is active in community service and leadership roles at Sinai Temple and at the Friendship Circle, which is dedicated to meeting the social needs of special needs children and teenagers.

Byrne received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Douglass College of Rutgers University and a Master's Degree from Columbia University.

Ted H. Gould

Ted H. Gould is a Managing Director in the Foreign Exchange department at First Republic Bank.

Gould joined First Republic Bank's Foreign Exchange team in August of 2007 and manages the Foreign Exchange Trading Desk for the FX group where he oversees the pricing and trading of currencies for the spot, forwards, options and structured product markets. Prior to joining First Republic, Gould was a Senior Foreign Exchange Trader for Investors Bank & Trust Company managing the risk on foreign exchange exposure for institutional custody clients', asset managers and hedge funds. Prior to that, Gould was a Foreign Exchange Trader at Bank of Boston/BankBoston/Fleet Bank on the FX Forwards and non-US dollar interest rate arbitrage desk focusing mainly on G4 currencies.

Gould holds a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from Lynn University and has been a member of the Market Technicians Association since 2002.

Shelley M. Gill

Shelley M. Gill is a Managing Director and Foreign Exchange Risk Advisor in the Foreign Exchange department at First Republic Bank.

Gill joined First Republic Bank in October of 2007; she is responsible for providing currency risk management solutions to First Republic Bank clients with an emphasis on hedging solutions for alternative asset firms.

Prior to joining First Republic, Gill was a Foreign Exchange Advisor and Trader at Silicon Valley Bank focusing primarily on corporate technology and life science clients. Prior to her position on the Foreign Exchange desk at Silicon Valley Bank, Gill was a member of Silicon Valley Bank's Corporate Technology team, responsible for underwriting credit facilities to publicly traded technology companies.

Gill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Kate Kent-Sheehan

Kate Kent-Sheehan is a Managing Director and product/risk manager in the Foreign Exchange department at First Republic Bank.

Prior to joining First Republic in April 2007, Kent-Sheehan was the Vice President of International Operations and Product Management for TD Banknorth. Kent-Sheehan was part of a team charged with the creation of Banknorth's international banking business. Her specific responsibilities included the development and implementation of the company's International Operations processes from inception. Her role included the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures within divisional, legal and regulatory guidelines. Kent-Sheehan assisted the FX Manager in the implementation of the banks foreign exchange sales and advisory effort. Kent-Sheehan spent ten years in various management positions in the global trade group at BankBoston (formerly Fleet Bank, now Bank of America).

Kent-Sheehan is a graduate of the Cork Institute of Technology, Cork, Ireland with a degree in business; graduate of BankBoston's Operations Management Development Program (1996) and the Center of Creative Leadership, Colorado Springs, Co. (1999).

Richard Lombardozzi, Jr.

Richard Lombardozzi, Jr. is a Senior Managing Director in the Foreign Exchange department of First Republic Bank.

Lombardozzi joined First Republic Bank in January of 2007 and has over 18 years of experience in the Foreign Exchange Markets. He is responsible for providing currency risk management solutions to corporate clients, alternative asset firms and private clients throughout the United States. Prior to joining First Republic, Lombardozzi was a Senior Vice President and Manager of Foreign Exchange Sales for TD Banknorth (US Division of TD Bank, Canada) where he was responsible for the development of its Foreign Exchange Division. From 1997 to 2003, he worked for Citizens Bank's (US Division of The Royal Bank of Scotland) Foreign Exchange Department where he managed corporate relationships in New England, and the Mid-Atlantic. He spent the previous five years in various management positions in the Foreign Exchange Department at Fleet Boston (now Bank of America).

Lombardozzi has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts.
