A. Alexander Arnold, III, CIC
A. Alexander Arnold, III is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Arnold joined First Republic Investment Management's predecessor, Trainer Wortham in 1969 where he was a Managing Director and a member of the firm's Board of Directors. Prior to this, he was an Investment Officer at the United States Trust Company of New York. He began his career, in Finance, at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1966.
Arnold earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College in 1964, followed by an MBA from Boston University in 1966.

Jason Babb, CFA
Jason Babb is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Babb joined First Republic in July of 2010. In his role at the firm he specializes in the design and management of equity and balanced portfolios for Ultra High Net Worth individuals, Trusts, Endowments and Foundations.
Prior to First Republic, Babb was a Director and Senior Investment Advisor at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management where he was responsible for managing $1.1 billion of private client assets. In addition to his investment management responsibilities, Babb was also a member of Deutsche Bank's Investment Advisory and Trust Investment Committees. The committees were responsible for reviewing client portfolios and asset allocations to ensure consistency with client investment objectives. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Babb was a mutual fund analyst with AllianceBernstein and spent four years in the United States Marine Corps where he achieved the rank of Sergeant.
Babb earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance (cum laude) from Ramapo College of New Jersey. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute. Babb holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.

J. Robert Bloom, Jr., Chief Equity Strategist
J. Robert Bloom, Jr. is a Managing Director and the Chief Equity Strategist at First Republic Investment Management.
Prior to joining First Republic, Bloom served as Chief Investment Officer for Berg Capital. Preceding Berg Capital, he previously served as President and CEO of LF Kapital's U.S. office. At Friends Ivory & Sime, he held the positions of Partner, Chief Investment Officer, and President and CEO. Bloom's background also includes serving as Head of Equity Investments at Manufacturers Hanover Investment Corporation, and as Chief Investment Officer for Wertheim Asset Management Services. He began his career at Metropolitan Insurance Companies, where he headed the Equity Investment Department.
Bloom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Wharton School of Finance and an MBA in Finance from the University of Iowa.

Glenn Degenaars, CFA
Glenn S. Degenaars is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Degenaars joined First Republic in August of 2010. In this role at the firm he specializes in the design and management of equity and balanced portfolios for Ultra High Net Worth individuals, Trusts, Endowments and Foundations. His primary responsibilities include developing customized portfolio strategies and making investment decisions in client accounts.
Prior to First Republic, Degenaars was a Managing Director and Senior Investment Advisor at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management where he was responsible for managing $1.3 billion of private client assets which included many of the largest and most complex family relationships. In addition to his investment management responsibilities, Degenaars was also a member of Deutsche Bank's Investment Advisory and Trust Investment Committees. The committees were responsible for reviewing client portfolios and asset allocations to ensure consistency with client investment objectives. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Degenaars was a financial analyst with a focus on pension plan management at Viacom and Merck and Company.
Degenaars earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Delaware. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute. Degenaars holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.

William G. Graham
William G. Graham is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Graham joined First Republic in 2010 with over 21 years of investment experience in the financial services industry. From 2008-2010 Graham was a Senior Vice President of Investments at UBS, where he focused his attention on developing asset allocation strategies and investment programs for high net worth clients. Prior to UBS, Graham was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at U.S. Trust Company Private Wealth Management from 2003-2008 and a Vice President and CFO of the Private Asset Management Division of State Street Global Advisors from 1997-2003. Graham began his career at Mellon Corporation as Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager in the Lending Division of The Boston Company.
Graham earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University prior to receiving his MBA from Babson College. Graham is also a graduate of the ABA National Trust School and holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.

H. Williamson Ghriskey, Jr.
H. Williamson Ghriskey, Jr. is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Ghriskey has over 38 years of investment experience. Prior to his current position, he worked at the Bank of New York. Ghriskey is a past President and Chairman of the Investment Counsel Association of America.
Ghriskey received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his MBA from Rutgers University.

Mary W. Hayes
Mary W. Hayes is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Hayes joined First Republic in 2011. Prior to First Republic, Hayes was at US Trust where she spent 11 years as a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager. As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Hayes was responsible for the design and implementation of customized investment portfolios for high net worth individuals, trusts and non-profit organizations, as well as research and monitoring efforts for the firm's Open Architecture Review Committee.
Prior to US Trust, Hayes was a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Scudder Zurich Private Investment Counsel. She began her investment career at The Bank of New York, culminating as a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager of Personal Asset Management.
Hayes earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Virginia. She is a Board Member and Trustee of the Diocesan Investment Trust for the Episcopal Diocese of New York, a Member of the Alumnae Board of Directors for St. Catherine's School (Richmond, VA) and a former Executive Board member of LEAD for Women.

Catherine Y. Jackson, CFA, CIMA
Catherine Y. Jackson is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Jackson has over 18 years experience in the investment business. She joined First Republic in 1998 where, during her time at First Republic, she has served as an Equity Analyst, Director of Research, and Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining First Republic, Jackson was a Senior Vice President of Lepercq, de Neuflize & Co., where she managed Ontario International, an off-shore international mutual fund and also served as an equity analyst. She began her investment career at Dean Witter Reynolds in ADR research in 1992.
Active with nonprofit and community organizations, Jackson is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Garrison Forest School, located in Owings Mills, Maryland, where she serves on the investment and finance committees. In New York, Jackson is an active supporter of the Fresh Air Fund, where she volunteers her time to tutor middle school children in the organization's Career Awareness Program.
Jackson received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Tufts University prior to earning her MBA from Georgetown University; she also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Investment Management Analyst designations.

Gene Martino
Gene Martino is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Martino joined First Republic in 2011 with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. From 1996-2011 Martino was a Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at Bank of New York where he specialized in managing assets for high net worth individuals and private foundations. Prior to Bank of New York, Martino was a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Smith Barney, Inc. and an Investment Officer at Bankers Trust Company. Martino began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank.
Martino earned both a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

Arthur Pensato
Arthur A. Pensato is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
As a Portfolio Manager, Pensato specializes in the design and management of equity and balanced portfolios for Ultra High Net Worth Individuals, Organizations, Trusts, Endowments and Foundations and his primary responsibilities include developing customized portfolio strategies and making investment decisions in client accounts.
Pensato has over 15 years of investment management experience. He joined First Republic in 2000 as a Research Analyst focusing on the Consumer and Industrials sectors, and also worked directly with the Chief Investment Officer in developing and implementing model portfolios for the firm. Prior to First Republic, Pensato was a Performance Analyst at Invesco, primarily focusing his work on Performance Attribution Analysis. He began his investment career at Neuberger Berman, also working on Performance Analytics, as well as Mutual Fund Accounting.
Pensato holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John's University. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 63 & 65 licenses and is also an active member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

William A. Slayne
William A. Slayne is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Prior to joining First Republic in 2011, Slayne was a Senior Director, Senior Portfolio Manager and Team Leader at Bank of New York Mellon Wealth Management where he was responsible for managing private client, personal trust and private foundation assets for high net worth individuals, family trusts and foundations. Prior to BNY Mellon, Slayne was a Vice President and Senior Investment Advisor at The Bank of New York Private Bank where he worked actively to develop the firm's "Open Architecture" investment platform by developing relationships with clients seeking unbiased investment advice. Slayne has also served as a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at United States Trust Company of New York. He began his career as a Senior Trust and Estate Officer at Chemical Private Bank.
Slayne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware. He is a member of the CFA Institute, The New York Society of Security Analysts and has successfully completed both the New York Bankers Association Trust Administration School and the New York Bankers Association Estate Administration School.

H. Denis Toner, III
H. Denis Toner, III is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Toner has been with First Republic Investment Management since 2005. Before joining the firm, he was associated with Citigroup Asset Management from 1997 to 2005, where he served as Managing Director/Head of US Portfolio Management for an investment team that was responsible for a $9 billion US investment strategy focused on individuals, families, foundations and fund management. During his tenure with Citigroup, Toner served on the Board of Directors for Citigroup Trust N.A. Florida/California, as Chairman of the Personal Investment Review Committee and the Collective Investment Funds and served on the Citigroup Global Asset Management Committee. He also directly managed $1.1 billion in family/foundation assets as well as $900 million between the Citibank Equity Fund and Citibank Balanced Fund. Prior to his tenure with Citigroup, Toner was a Vice President/Senior Portfolio Manager at Bankers Trust Company in New York City from 1989 to 1997.
Toner is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's General Management Program and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College. He is registered with FINRA (formerly the NASD) as a General Securities Principal (he hold the Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses), as well as being a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts where he serves on the Socially Responsible Investment Committee.
