Karin J. Barber is a Managing Director and Senior Trust Officer at First Republic Trust Company.
Prior to joining First Republic in 2006, Barber worked as a Vice President and Trust Officer for U. S. Trust Company, where she was employed since 1994. Prior to her tenure at U.S. Trust Company, Barber worked in Puget Sound Bank's (now Key Bank of Washington) Private Banking Division, in Tacoma, Washington.
Barber has nearly 20 years of service in the wealth management industry. Her experience focuses on delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions to high net worth individuals, as well as providing fiduciary management and administration to complex trust relationships.
Barber earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lawrence University in Wisconsin and a Master's in Business Administration from City University in Washington. She is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute and holds the professional designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. Barber is currently working on obtaining her Certified Financial Planner designation.

Scott Duttenhaver is a Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at First Republic Trust Company.
Prior to joining First Republic in 2006, Duttenhaver served as Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for U.S. Trust Company and Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for Wells Fargo Private Client Services in Portland, Oregon. He was also Vice President, Senior Trust Officer and Trust Branch Manager for First Interstate Bank and has over 25 years experience in Trust Administration and Personal Finance.
Duttenhaver holds the Certified Trust and Financial Adviser and Certified IRA Services Professional designations from the American Bankers Association, as well as the Certified Financial Planner designation. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon and is a Member of the Portland Estate Planning Council.

Kathleen Host, CTFA, CISP
Kathleen Host is a Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at First Republic Trust Company.
As Senior Trust Officer, Host works with high net-worth individuals, families, non-profit groups and foundations to establish and administer their relationships with First Republic Investment Management and First Republic Trust Company. Her many years of professional experience in all areas of personal finance make her a valuable resource to many clients and their team of professional advisors. Through First Republic Trust Company, Host also provides a full line of personalized trust and IRA administration and estate settlement services.
Host brings over 28 years experience in Trust Administration. Prior to joining First Republic, Host served as Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for US Trust beginning in 1995. She was a Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for Wells Fargo from 1993 to 1995, and she spent 13 years as an Assistant Vice President & Trust Officer at Bank of California, N.A. in Portland, Oregon.
