Gene Martino Joins First Republic Bank

Wealth Management Team Continues To Expand In New York City

First Republic Bank, a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced that Gene Martino, an investment professional with more than 25 years of experience, has joined First Republic Private Wealth Management as Portfolio Manager and Managing Director.

First Republic Private Wealth Management provides customized wealth management solutions, including trust, investment management and brokerage services, to high net worth individuals and families, foundations, endowments and non-profits. First Republic Private Wealth Management complements First Republic’s comprehensive suite of private banking and business banking services delivered with exceptional client service.

Martino will offer clients customized equity and fixed-income investment management solutions. Client portfolios utilize both traditional portfolio management and carefully screened outside managers for equity, fixed income, and alternative investments. Martino will work for First Republic Investment Management, which is part of First Republic Private Wealth Management.

Prior to joining First Republic, Martino worked for Bank of New York Mellon for 15 years, most recently as Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager. Earlier in his career, he worked for Smith Barney and Bankers Trust. Martino earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
