Prior to joining First Republic in 2010, Mr. Zitnitsky was with Northern Trust NA where he was responsible for the oversight of the investment portfolio of Family Advisory Services group. Preceding his joining Northern Trust in February 1992, he was a portfolio manager with Bank of America, City National Bank and Trust Services of America, Inc. and began his investment career with Dean Witter Reynolds as a financial advisor.
As an active member of the nonprofit community, Mr. Zitnitsky is a the member of the Board of Directors for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals/Los Angeles, as well as Chair of the Finance Committee. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and Board of The People Concern (formerly Ocean Park Community Center/LAMP Community). The People Concern is one of the largest social services agency in Los Angeles working to address the effects of poverty, abuse, neglect and discrimination on the less fortunate segment of our population.
Mr. Zitnitsky earned his Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and his MBA from the Marshall Business School at the University of Southern California. His professional affiliations include the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts and the Association of Investment Management and Research.
