Dodie Gumaer is a Managing Director and Wealth Advisor at First Republic Investment Management, where she provides investment consulting and wealth management services to clients.

Before joining First Republic, Ms. Gumaer served as a Relationship Manager for nine years at U.S. Trust Company. Her 20 years in the private banking and investment industry also includes positions at M&T Bank, Bankers Trust and Citibank, where she graduated from the Citibank Institute for Global finance.

Ms. Gumaer is actively involved with various nonprofits. She serves on the boards of the ASPCA (2008-present) and Hartley House (2004-present) as well as the community settlement house in Hell’s Kitchen. She also is a former trustee (1989-2005) and Treasurer of the Seeing Eye, the Morristown, N.J., dog guide school.

Ms. Gumaer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political economy from Wheaton College in Norton, Mass., and is a graduate of the American Bar Association’s National Trust School.
