Hank Holland is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management.

Mr. Holland joined First Republic in 2017, continuing an investment and financial advisory career spanning 30 years.  He serves on the Asset Allocation Committee for First Republic Investment Management, as well as the Investment Committee for Altair, First Republic’s alternative investment group.

Prior to joining First Republic, Mr. Holland was a Managing Director for the Private Bank and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch for 10 years.  Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2007, he spent 11 years as a Principal and as National Director of Investment Planning at Bernstein Global Wealth Management.
Active in the community, Mr. Holland is currently Chair of the Board at Cardigan Mountain School, a junior boarding school in New Hampshire.  Also, he serves on the Board of Overseers at Hoover Institution and the Board of the San Francisco Ballet Foundation.  He is formerly a Board of Trustee member for the San Francisco Ballet (Vice Chairman), U.S. Ski Team Foundation, Bay Area Discovery Museum (Chairman), Grace Cathedral, St. Luke’s Hospital, The Little School and Marin Catholic High School.  He is currently an officer of the Maytag Ranch, as well as Holland Ranch & Cattle Company.  

Mr. Holland attended Southern Methodist University on an Honors Engineering Scholarship and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1989 and a Masters in Agriculture at Colorado State University in 2013.
