Jeffrey Coburn is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Mr. Coburn has over 10 years of investment experience, most recently as a Portfolio Manager at WHV Investment Management (formerly Wentworth Hauser & Violich). At WHV he was a member of the Large Cap Core Investment committee and in 2008 he was promoted to lead product manager for the strategy. He also served as a member of their Select World Equity investment committee and as an assistant portfolio manager on the WHV Small Cap Equity strategy. As a securities analyst, he was the lead analyst for the Financials and Industrials sectors. He has experience designing asset allocation, and managing client relations for a variety of clients that include high net-worth individuals, endowments, as well as, public, corporate, and Taft‑Hartley pension plans.
Mr. Coburn received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley. While an undergraduate he gained valuable investment experience at Morgan Stanley and Neuberger Berman. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
