Matthew Babrick is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager for First Republic Investment Management.
Mr. Babrick joined First Republic in 2018. Prior to joining First Republic as a Wealth Manager and Managing Director, he was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Management Division. Mr. Babrick focuses on wealth management for families and foundations.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2007, Mr. Babrick worked at Merrill Lynch in the Private Banking and Investment Group.
Active in his local community, Mr. Babrick serves on the Investment Committee for the Wilshire Boulevard Temple and is also on the board of directors for the Alliance for Children’s Rights, American Friends of Hebrew University and the Anti-Defamation League.
Mr. Babrick earned his MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and his bachelor’s degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Mr. Babrick received a basketball scholarship from Indiana University under renowned basketball coach, Bob Knight. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Babrick served as a men’s basketball scout at Stanford University.
