Michael D. Selfridge

Mr. Selfridge joined First Republic in 2012. He has served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and was appointed Chief Banking Officer in 2016. Currently, he oversees Business Banking, Eagle Lending (consumer) and Relationship Management / Private Banking activities in the California; New York; Boston; Portland, Oregon; Bellevue, Washington; and Jackson, Wyoming regions. For over two decades, he has served on the Board of Directors of several nonprofit organizations that support underserved communities, educational institutions, health and human services, and entrepreneurial activities. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Selfridge worked for Silicon Valley Bank for 18 years, most recently serving as the Head of U.S. Regional Banking.
