Pam Knight is a Managing Director and Senior Advanced Planner at First Republic Investment Management.
Ms. Knight joined First Republic in 2017 and has over 25 years of experience working with ultra-high net worth families. Ms. Knight works with clients and their advisors to design their financial, estate and charitable giving plans. Some of her areas of focus include pre-liquidity planning (IPO or sale), trust, estate and multi-generational planning, philanthropic planning, employee equity incentive planning (RSUs and stock options) and concentrated stock analysis to name a few.
Prior to joining First Republic, Ms. Knight worked as a Private Wealth Consultant at RBC Wealth Management for over 10 years. Prior to RBC, Ms. Knight worked at the SF-based boutique investment bank, Montgomery Securities, where she worked with many pre-IPO companies. Through various mergers and acquisitions, Montgomery ended up on the Bank of America platform where she continued to serve as a Wealth Strategist.
Ms. Knight earned her B.S. in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton and her Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Ms. Knight is a licensed Certified Public Accountant for the State of California and had previously worked in Public Accounting as a Tax Manager working with closely-held family businesses primarily owning real estate. Ms. Knight also holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation issued to CPAs and the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation issued by American Bankers Association.
