Paul Mutch is a Managing Director and Advanced Planner at First Republic Investment Management in Boston.
Mr. Mutch has extensive experience providing integrated tax, fiduciary and wealth management services to high net worth individuals, families, corporate executives, and closely held business owners. He has also conducted numerous seminars and has lectured at CPA continuing professional education courses on a variety of tax and wealth management topics.
Prior to joining First Republic in 2014, Mr. Mutch was with the Wealth Advisory Services Group at Wilmington Trust, the Wealth Management Group at Vitale, Caturano & Company, and the Personal Financial Services Group at Ernst & Young, LLP.
Mr. Mutch holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from Boston University, a Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Economics, from Salem State College. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Estate Planning Council and holds the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® professional.
Mr. Mutch served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps from 1981 – 1987. He joined the Marine Corps Reserve in 1991 and retired as a Sergeant Major in 2014. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the USS Constitution Museum and serves on the Board for Belmont Youth Baseball.
