1To qualify for the Forbes top millennial advisors, SHOOK Research considered advisors born in 1980 or later with a minimum 4 years relevant experience. Ranking is based on qualitative measures derived from telephone and in-person interviews and surveys: service models, investing process, client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, etc.; and quantitative criteria, such as assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criteria because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Rankings are based on the opinions of SHOOK Research, LLC. For more information see www.SHOOKresearch.com. 2Professionals were eligible for this list with ranking determination based on quantitative criteria including individual, as well as team, assets under management and revenue generated; and on qualitative measures derived from telephone and in-person interviews and surveys including service model, investing process, client retention, industry experience and firm nominations. Each advisor was nominated by their respective firm, then vetted and ranked by SHOOK Research.
