Gaye STEM Fellowship Program

Building chances

The Erkan FellowsSM Program’s purpose is to give young women a chance. A chance to learn. A chance to explore. A chance to stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before so that they might break new ground.

With the Erkan FellowsSM Program, we believe that success is built upon three things: education, opportunity and mentorship.

Here, all three come together to engage and empower young women who are exploring the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics as never before.

We’re honored to partner with the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools (NCGS) for our first class of Erkan FellowsSM. Recipients will be announced May 2021.

“No matter what field your girls choose to enter — or, better yet, to create — STEM will enable them to master more and be more confident and courageous.”

How it works

  • 10 young women in grade 9 (class of 2024) will receive a financial grant in each year of their high school education.
  • Funds from the grant may be applied to educational services and programs within the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
  • Erkan FellowsSM will participate in a year-round mentorship program that includes engaging with academic counselors, business professionals and executive leaders as well as career development and educational activities.
