from JPMorgan Chase:

May 5, 2023

To Our Valued Clients:

We are writing to share that on Monday, JPMorgan Chase acquired a substantial majority of assets and assumed certain liabilities of First Republic Bank from the FDIC. We want to ensure that you have the information you need during this transition.

  • We are committed to supporting First Republic clients and providing continued, exceptional service throughout this transition period and beyond. JPMorgan Chase has been a leader in financial services for more than 200 years, and you can rest assured that all of your deposits are backed by JPMorgan Chase’s financial strength and stability.

  • All Preferred Banking Offices are operating as usual, and you will continue to work with your First Republic team for your financial needs. For online banking, please continue to use firstrepublic.com or your First Republic mobile banking app.

  • Over time, you will also have access to JPMorgan Chase’s extensive branch network, the largest in the country, with more than 4,700 Chase branches across all lower 48 states and the District of Columbia, and more than 15,000 ATMs in 49 states.

  • Very importantly, you should not respond to calls or texts claiming to be from JPMorgan Chase or First Republic that ask for your personal financial information. We don’t do that. We will also never ask you to move money using Zelle®, wires or other electronic transfers in order to safeguard your funds.

We look forward to serving you, and we welcome you to JPMorgan Chase.
