Kevin Chung

Kevin K. Chung is a Managing Director and Advanced Planner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Mr. Chung joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, First Republic now part of JPMorgan Chase in 2023, and has over 15 years of experience working with high net worth and ultra-high net worth families in designing their financial, estate, and charitable giving plans. Prior to joining First Republic in 2015, Mr. Chung was a Financial Advisor and the Director of Financial Planning at Jackson Financial Management in Orange County from 2007 to 2015. He has also taught as an Instructor in the Personal Financial Planning Certificate program at the University of California, Irvine Extension Program. Mr. Chung started his planning career at Brightworth, LLC in Atlanta, where he designed comprehensive financial plans for Fortune 500 executives.

Mr. Chung is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®), a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), and an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®).

Mr. Chung earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from Georgia State University, and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from California State University at Fullerton in Irvine. He has also trained with George Kinder and the Kinder Institute of Life Planning in the EVOKE® Life Planning methodology.
