Michael Herron

Michael Herron is the Head of Insurance at First Republic Private Wealth Management. In his role, Mr. Herron is responsible for both insurance agencies, Grand Eagle Insurance Services and Eagle Private Insurance Service. He leads the life, annuity and property & casualty insurance businesses at First Republic across all national markets. Mr. Herron joined First Republic in 2015. Previously he and his partners owned and operated Highland Capital Brokerage, a leading national insurance brokerage firm. Prior, Mr. Herron was the Senior Vice President, National Sales Leader, at Marsh & McClennan focusing on strategic initiatives, business development and operations excellence.

Active in his community, he is a member of SPAN, Seattle Philanthropic Advisor Network, has coached youth football, was a Board Member of Leadership Burbank and served on the Finance Committee of the YMCA.

He holds the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant®.

Mr. Herron earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California School in Cinematic Arts and completed University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Leadership Program.
