I work with the business to assess ongoing compliance with standards and procedures from the first line perspective. As a utility player, I work to improve processes that bring us in closer alignment with best practices from a risk and audit perspective.

I have a very small team but I think in general I try to foster a great experience on a peer-to-peer level by treating colleagues as my clients.

Words of wisdom I have for First Republic job candidates or new First Republic colleagues.

Go in person. Build relationships face-to-face first, then when you know someone, you can join via conference call. But meet people and get to know them in person first. Think of your colleagues as your client — how do you want to be treated? How can you help them accomplish what they need to accomplish?
